About container space in China

We have to regret to inform POD agent that shipping company rejected all of your containers due to vessel without any space to load, so needing to change the same shipping line, the next vessel to the same destination sea port. It means that your container can't catch up with the vessel which your freight forwarder booked.

There is no space to load containers, some happens in port of loading and some is in Port of discharge. What are the reasons?

• There are a lot of container in busy season, shipping company profit-maximizing, and prevent shipping loading container after booking containers spaces, make sure there are full containers in one vessel. They send more spaces into marketing before loading containers.
• China shipping line companies change the boat’s weight temporarily, and left the heavy container for next vessel. Such as ceramics container.
• There are very less containers because the weather, vessel change, it won’t coming this week.
• Causes for Shipper.(such as containers delay back to the sea port , delay to finish customs clearance etc)
• Chinese sea freight be changed, most of time booked spaces are low China ocean freight, and back later the freight have changed.

How to do when cann’t catch up with vessel?

• Waiting for next vessel, and make sure can catch up! Boat has left port already. You cannot do anything.
• 2.Truck out the container from sea port, and book other shipping line or other vessel.
