Djibouti's trade regulations system mainly consists of the "Contract Law", "Tax Law" and "Customs Law" in the civil law, and foreign-related aspects mainly consist of the "World Trade Organization Rules" and the "African Uniform Commercial Code" and bilateral agreements signed by relevant countries.
【Management System】
The supervision and management of Djibouti's import, export, re-export and transit goods are the responsibility of the Indirect Taxation Bureau under the Djibouti Budget Department. The Bureau has institutions at all import and export ports and uses computer networking management. The Customs and Indirect Taxation Bureau has a tax department that is responsible for the specific implementation of laws and regulations related to indirect taxes, and the collection and management of various indirect taxes.
