Calculating Billing Weight

The billing weight is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight.

Example

A shipment from Shanghai to Douala has dimensions of 45 cm x 42 cm x 17 cm and an actual weight of 3 kg. The volumetric weight is calculated as follows:
Volumetric weight = (45 cm x 42 cm x 17 cm) / 5000 ≈ 6.5 kg
Since 6.5 kg is greater than 3 kg, the billing weight for this shipment will be 6.5 kg.
