Shenzhen inverts the usual tiering: its rate rises from USD 25 to USD 35 as volume grows, because the Wan Hai service prices bigger boxes at a premium. Shantou and Chongqing reward volume; Shenzhen penalises it — choose origin accordingly.
Manta and Quito services are temporarily suspended. Cargo for Quito can still move via Guayaquil and truck inland.
Tiered pricing compared
Chongqing: 60 → 52 → 42. Shantou: 33 → 30 → 25 → 23. Shenzhen: 25 → 30 → 35. For a 6 CBM shipment the outcome is dramatic — Shantou costs USD 138, Shenzhen USD 210. Unless cargo is positioned in Shenzhen, the Shantou COSCO service is the default recommendation.
Quito without the Quito service
With the Busan-fed Quito service suspended, the practical route is Guayaquil plus inland trucking. Budget for the Andean leg at destination and confirm the destination agent's delivery tariff before booking.
