Xiamen is the value lane. At USD 116 per CBM with a direct sailing, Xiamen is roughly USD 100 per CBM cheaper than Ningbo and 54 days faster. Unless the cargo originates in the west of China, Xiamen is the obvious choice.

Chongqing uses the express warehouse. The Chongqing rate of USD 200 per CBM is paired with a 1 CBM = 500 kg conversion, so heavy cargo reaches the billable threshold twice as quickly. The rate is higher but the transit, at 54 days, is the fastest we hold for Haiti.

Transit times are long. Even the direct lanes run to nearly two months, and Ningbo takes 75 days. Build that into your delivery commitment to the consignee.

Choosing between the three origins

Look at where the cargo actually is. Xiamen is the cheapest and the second-fastest; Chongqing is the fastest and best suited to heavy cargo because of the 1:500 conversion; Ningbo is the most expensive and slowest, and should only be used if the goods are already in Zhejiang.

Documentation and risk
