Mandatory U.S. Shipment Requirements Effective March 25 (FedEx Express Hong Kong Notice)

Per FedEx Hong Kong's updated regulations effective March 25, 2024, all U.S.-bound shipments must comply with the following operational mandates:

  • 1. Commercial invoices must display valid 10-digit U.S. HS Codes for all commodities.
  • 2. Textiles, apparel goods, and FDA-regulated commodities require explicit Manufacturer Identification Codes (MID Codes) on accompanying invoices.

Non-compliant shipments will be returned to origin at shipper's expense, including applicable pickup charges and processing fees. All originating freight forwarder must ensure strict adherence to documentation requirements prior to dispatch. Any compliance-related delays or ancillary charges will be solely borne by the shipper.
