Albania is served on our Europe route through two consignment points: the seaport of Durrës and the inland capital Tirana, which is fed through Durrës and cleared locally. Because the country has no direct China service, every box is consolidated at Koper, Slovenia, and trucked across the border — a reliable routing, but one that adds a fixed ENS filing cost of USD 25 per order under EU pre-arrival security rules.
The table below summarises the rates we hold for Albania across four loading ports. Xiamen is the most economical origin; Shanghai and Nanjing move through our express warehouse, which bills at a richer 1 CBM = 500 kg ratio and therefore suits dense cargo rather than light, bulky freight.
How to read these rates: figures are indicative reference levels for port-to-port LCL ocean freight, updated for October 2026. They exclude origin haulage, warehouse and customs charges, destination port charges and any surcharges. Space, cut-off times and rates must be re-confirmed at booking.

All Albania services tranship at Koper, Slovenia; there is no direct China–Albania consolidation. Minimum shipment is 2 CBM, so cargo below 2 CBM is billed as 2 CBM.
The standard warehouse services (Xiamen, Xi'an) charge on 1 CBM = 1,000 kg. The express warehouse services (Nanjing, Shanghai) charge on 1 CBM = 500 kg and cost about USD 9–19 more per CBM — worthwhile only when cargo is heavy relative to its volume.
Choosing between Durrës and Tirana
Durrës is Albania's main deep-water port and the cheapest delivery point. Tirana adds an inland leg after Koper, which is why its per-CBM rate runs USD 10 higher from every origin. If your consignee has a customs broker in Durrës, delivering there and trucking onward locally is often cheaper than buying the through rate to Tirana.
ENS filing under the EU import control system
Because Koper is an EU entry point, every Albania consolidation carries an ENS/SET filing of USD 25 per bill of lading, regardless of volume. It is charged once per order, not per cubic metre, so it matters most on small shipments — on a 2 CBM Xiamen box it adds about USD 12.50 per CBM to the landed cost.
