Ningbo rates look unusually low in the source tariff. They are quoted as net figures to peers and direct customers alike; treat them as the floor of the negotiating range and re-confirm at booking, since Adriatic-loop rates move seasonally.

Shanghai quotes both a volume rate (USD/CBM) and a weight rate (USD/ton); the chargeable basis is whichever of the two — cubic metres or revenue tonnes after the 1 CBM = 1,000 kg conversion — produces the higher figure.

Direct consolidation versus Koper transhipment

Vienna enjoys a direct consolidator box on both the Ningbo and Shanghai services, cutting five to twelve days off the Koper routing. Graz, Linz, Salzburg and the western cities are fed through Koper, which is why their transit times stretch to 40–45 days. If your consignee is in Vienna, book the direct service first.

Bregenz is door delivery only

The Huangpu service to Bregenz (Vorarlberg) is offered on a door-delivery basis only — the destination agent trucks the cargo from Koper and bills local delivery separately. For shipments to the far west of Austria, compare that all-in cost against a Salzburg or Innsbruck delivery before booking.
