LCL sea freight from China to Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek) — 2026 reference rates

Kyrgyzstan is landlocked and has no port of its own, so cargo is consolidated at a European gateway — Vilnius in Lithuania or Riga in Latvia — and then moved east by rail and road to Bishkek. It is a genuinely multimodal service, not a sea freight in the conventional sense.
Because the cargo travels on the Europe service it attracts the standard USD 25 ENS filing per bill of lading. All three lanes also carry elevated minimums — 3 CBM from Xiamen and Shanghai, and 5 CBM from Shantou — because the onward rail leg only makes sense at volume.
How to read these rates: figures are indicative reference levels for port-to-port LCL ocean freight, updated for October 2026. They exclude origin haulage, warehouse and customs charges, destination port charges and any surcharges. Space, cut-off times and rates must be re-confirmed at booking.

Rail and road beyond the gateway. The sea leg ends at Vilnius or Riga. From there the container moves east as groupage on rail and road to Bishkek. Transit is quoted at 53 days for all three origins, which reflects the fixed European gateway rather than the Chinese loading port.
ENS applies. USD 25 per bill of lading, charged once per shipment because the cargo is booked on the Europe service.
Source discrepancy. The narrative text in the original document quotes much lower indicative figures (about USD 102–115 per CBM) for the same three origins, which does not match its own price table. The table figures are shown above as the carrier tariff, and the lower figures are most likely a drafting error. Confirm the rate in writing before booking.
Why the rate is high for a short land route
Bishkek is only a few thousand kilometres from western China, but this service does not go that way. It routes west by sea to a European port and then doubles back east overland — a long way round, chosen because it lets us use established European consolidation traffic and avoids the capacity constraints and border variability of the direct China–Central Asia road routes.
Minimum volumes explained
The 3 CBM and 5 CBM floors exist because the onward rail leg needs a full groupage unit. Below the floor the economics do not work, and the shipment will simply be billed at the minimum. If your cargo is under 3 CBM, ask us about a road or rail consolidation instead — it may be both faster and cheaper.
