Chengdu - Europe Railway was first established in early 2013. It was formed by Hong Kong HATRANS Logistics Co., Ltd., Chengdu Yuehai Global Logistics Co., Ltd. and Chengdu Weilong Logistics Co., Ltd.. The main business was cross-border international railway freight from Central Asia to European.

At the beginning of 2014, with the new shareholder and railway logistics of operating company, the company took over 51% management rights of Shanghai Tieyang Multimodal Freight Co., Ltd., and fully took over the daily operation of Chengdu - Europe Railway International Logistics Co., Ltd. In order to fully take over the Chengdu - Europe Railway, which is responsible for the cross-border railway freight business between Chengdu and Poland.

In June 2024 , Rong Ou Ban Lie was officially incorporated into China Railway Express by the General Administration of Railways of China. The Rong Ou Express Railway from Chengdu to Poland will have a national unified brand in the future.

Chengdu, Sichuan is located in western China and is an important transportation hub. While Rhodes is in Poland, it is the hub of transportation in Europe. The EU has two major transportation strategic routes that meet in Rhodes.

The A1 highway runs through the north and south, from the Gdansk, Baltic port of Poland, and extends south to Vienna, Austria. The A2 highway, which runs across the east and west, starts from Moscow, the capital of Russia, and extends to Germany after Poland and finally arrives in Berlin. Therefore, Rhodes is located in an important traffic artery. It can distribute goods to all European countries within 3 days, and only 2-3 hours to Frankfurt and Berlin in Germany.

The two individual hubs are connected, setting up a fast and smooth Eurasian Continental Bridge. Rong Ou Express Railway reversed the disadvantage of the lack of estuary in the development of an export-oriented economy in inland cities,Chengdu, Sichuan, which made Chengdu occupy a geographical advantage in the Silk Road Economic Belt. At present, the Rong Ou Express Railway has initially formed a three-line parallel pattern from the Northern Line to Moscow, the Middle Line to Lodz, and the South Line to Istanbul.

It realized one train a day. In 2024 , Rong Ou Express Railway launched a total of 460 trains, ranking first in China, accounting for 26% of the total number of domestic and international trains, and the total value of transportation exceeded US$1.3 billion. In 2024 , Rong Ou Express Railway plans to operate 1,000 trains.

The total transit time of Chengdu - Europe Railway from Chengdu to Poland is 12-14 days. Compared with transporting goods to the Shenzhen dock by car and then transporting them by sea to Poland, the time saved is about 40~50. The speed of the train is faster than other China Railway Express.

• Regular departures

  Since its opening on April 26, 2013, Chengdu - Europe Railway has been running regularly every Friday, at least one train per week. Up to now, it has been realized more than one train every week from Chengdu and Rhodes.

  The train is stable, 4-8 trains per week; there is an indoor reloading place on the border between Alashankou and Dostyk in order to ensure that the reloading operation is not affected by the weather. Rongou Express Railway is not stopped in winter. "Rongou Fast Rail" is not stopped in winter. There are GPRS tracking throughout the whole process; transit EDI is declared in advance, and does not stop during the transit.

• Efficient customs clearance

  Chengdu - Europe Railway uses EDI transmission throughout the whole process, and the national customs clearance EDI system along the way pre-submits the transit information, realizing the non-stop transit, adopting the "one declaration, one inspection, one release" fast customs clearance mode.

   In Europe, the customs clearance is carried out regularly, and the goods are declared truthfully. If one set of the containers is for inspection, the other goods are normally released;

• Professional and enthusiastic service

  (1) Chengdu - Europe Railway adopts an open operation mode as a public service platform, which provides a full range of supply chain logistics solutions from LCL to FCL for the majority of forwarders and senders; A menu-style service is available, and the customer can select the desired service content.

  (2) IT information management system: The IT information management system developed by Rong Ou Express Railway can connect customers-carrier-customs-consignee at the same time to achieve real-time, visualized and standardized modern logistics service goals. Rong Ou Express Railway is the only one in many China Railway express that uses the EDI transit declaration system. The whole process adopts the “one declaration, one inspection, one release” customs clearance mode. Data sharing was achieved within the customs and inspection and quarantine departments by the system. When the goods are departed from the Chengdu Port, the information of the documents will be issued. The customs and commodity inspection departments along the way can do pre-clearance. There is no need to stop and check the container and go through the customs clearance process. The stopover time of Rong Ou Express Railway is controlled within 6 hours, while the other trains take 24 hours.

   (3) European Transit Center Polish bonded warehouse of Rong Ou Express Railway also has bonded concessions for EU and Russia and CIS, which can provide EU and Russian and CIS customers with the convenience of arrival tax payment and Delayed tax payment for 160 days respectively.
