• What is AMS:

  Shipping container to the United States or by the United States transfer to third country it needs providing AMS, follow U.S.A customs provisions that all container need being declared before container leave loading sea port twenty-four hours. AMS also called manifest 24 hour forecast; also called USA customs anti-terrorism manifest. AMS information is through direct transmission system specifies the use of America customs to USA customs database, replying by America customs system of automatic examination and when needing to send submit details of goods, Including the port of destination, weight, volume, number, name of commodity, the real consignee, shipper/factory or can't load the container in port of loading.

  USD25/BL, if you want to amend BL, it need adding USD40/BL

• hich Countries need AMS Report?

  U.S.A, Canada, All Europe countries: The UK, Ireland, France, Holland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Monaco, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Germany, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Austria, Liechtenstein, Switzerland etc...

• AMS needs sending from whom?

  General AMS send by American freight forwarder. Most of American freight forwarding companies have AMS report system, they can finish this job in 10 minutes. AMS information provide from Chinese suppliers or Chinese freight forwarder.

• AMS informations need send before how long?

  Before 24houses from ship ETD. But most of time it must be provided after finish loading container. There are the details of AMS information after loading container, so the best time is here. More earlier you provide more safer.

• What's the details of AMS?

  One AMS including: House BL Number, Carrier Master BL No, Carrier Name, Shipper, Consignee, Notify Party, Place of Receipt, Vessel / Voyage, Port of Loading, Port of Discharge, Destination, Container Number, Seal Number, Size/ Type, No. PKG Type, Weight, CBM,Description of Goods, Marks & Numbers. Most of times, AMS will be the same as BL information. So when confirm BL there will be AMS also.

• Could not provide trusted shipper or consignee?

  The answer is absolutely not! If you don't provide or provide wrong, maybe you will pay USD1000--USD5000 to U.S customs! American customs regulations provide shipper and consignee's company name, full address, zip code", most of clients provide trusted buyer or suppliers contacts also, you don't need to provide contacts to freight forwarder or shipping company. Keep your business more safer.

• What is the result will be returned from US customs?

  AMS information is through customs system direct transmission to customs database, automatic reply and check by American customs system. General there will be results after sending 5-10 minutes(But ACI which from Canada is more slower than AMS, most of time need waiting about 3 hours. Maybe Canada customs ACI system is not good as American AMS system.). If you send complete AMS information, It will be the returned "OK", the "OK" representing AMS is no problem now, this container can be on board. If there is not "OK", it means that this container or shipments cannot be loaded on board beginning from 06/12/2003. America customs requiring special bill, this must be matched with ship company master bill and AMS master bill need the same. The two numbers are the same, you will get "1Y" results, when clearance AMS will no problem. If ACI is slightly different, only "06" results, will check the MBL NO, besides will check consignee code.
