Delivery Guidelines & Compliance for Shenzhen EMS International Express

• 1. • 2. International Compensation Standards: In the unfortunate event of a total loss or complete damage to your shipment, Goodhope Freight adheres to the standard EMS compensation protocols: Indemnity Limit: Compensation is based on the actual verified value of the loss, capped at a maximum of 100 USD per shipment. Postage Refund: In addition to the claim amount, the original postage paid by the sender will be fully refunded. Recovery Protocol: If a "lost" shipment is recovered after compensation has been issued, the sender will be notified to return the indemnity payment in exchange for the delivery of the goods.
• 3. Prohibited Dangerous Goods Notice (e.g., WD-40): To ensure aviation and public safety, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding prohibited hazardous materials. Specific Prohibition: Items labeled as flammable liquids or containing high-pressure canisters—specifically products like WD-40 (Water Displacement, 40th formula)—are strictly prohibited. Risk Profile: WD-40 is classified as a flammable, toxic, and pressurized aerosol. Due to the high risk of combustion or leakage in transit, it is forbidden across all postal networks. Mandatory Inspection: All shippers and logistics partners are required to conduct rigorous pre-loading inspections. Any packaging found with hazardous markings or containing pressurized tanks will be summarily rejected for delivery.

Please strictly adhere to the following precautions and compliance requirements when utilizing our Hong Kong EMS services:

• 1. Warehouse & Consignment: All shipments must be delivered to the Shenzhen Goodhope Freight International Transfer Warehouse for consolidated processing and dispatch.
• 2. Pricing & Weight Standards: Calculation: Rates are based on actual weight (RMB) and follow the official Hong Kong Post Speedpost posting guidelines. Official Reference: For detailed service standards, please visit the official Speedpost HK Portal.
• 3. Documentation & Labeling: Declaration: Please clearly mark “Hong Kong EMS” on your shipping manifest/delivery list. Cut-off Time: The daily cut-off time at our Shenzhen facility is 09:00 AM. Consignee Information: The recipient’s name and full address must be provided in English. P.O. Box addresses are not accepted. We are not liable for delays resulting from inaccurate or incomplete address information. Commercial Invoice: A detailed commercial invoice must be securely attached to the exterior of the package, specifying the item name, quantity, and declared value.
• 4. Commodity Restrictions: Prohibited Items: Per postal regulations and international law, items such as cash, dangerous goods, and wooden box packaging are strictly prohibited. Branded Goods: Brand-name products are acceptable for shipment. Quantity & Weight: Generally, shipments are limited to one set per parcel; however, weight limits vary significantly by destination country. Please refer to the price list for specific restrictions.
• 5. Tracking & Inquiry: Real-time tracking is available through the official Hong Kong Post Speedpost website.
• 6. Liability, Indemnity, and Compensation:

  (1) Claims for Loss or Damage: If a claimant can provide evidence that a shipment is lost, damaged, or delayed by 7 working days or more (based on destination working days), they may be eligible for compensation. The maximum indemnity is capped at HKD 1,500, based on either the declared value or the HKD 1,500 limit—whichever is lower.

  (2) Non-Compensable Circumstances: Goodhope Freight and Hong Kong EMS will not provide compensation or postage refunds in cases of: Customs issues (seizures/delays); Improper packaging; Excluded destinations (Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan); Inaccurate declarations (vague terms like “samples”); Missing documentation; Force Majeure (natural disasters, war); or Undeliverable shipments due to address changes after posting.

• 7. Safety & Aviation Compliance: Prohibited Goods: Perfumes, lighters, and lithium batteries are not accepted for airmail (including Speedpost). Inspection Protocol: If a shipment fails X-ray screening, the sender may be required to attend the Air Mail Centre to dismantle the parcel on-site. Consequences: If dangerous goods are discovered during processing, the items will be seized or returned without a postage refund. The sender may also face legal prosecution.
• 8. Detailed Customs Declarations: Specific Descriptions: Generic terms such as “food,” “cosmetics,” or “electronic parts” are not allowed. Detailed Example: Instead of “Cosmetics,” list “1 Lipstick, 1 Eyeliner, 100ml Toner, etc.” Mainland China Restrictions: The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) prohibits all airmail containing powders, liquids, or lithium batteries on domestic flights. If such items are diverted to land transport, no refunds will be issued for resulting delays.
