Identification and Classification Report for Air Transport of Goods

This "Identification and Classification Report for Air Transport of Goods" is required for the following types of international air freight.

1.Batteries and Battery-Containing Products
All lithium batteries (lithium-ion, lithium-metal batteries/cells, and devices containing them, such as mobile phones, laptops, power tools, drones).
Other new types of batteries (such as sodium-ion batteries, solid-state batteries, etc.).
Lead-acid batteries, nickel-metal hydride batteries, etc.

Chemicals and Products Containing Chemicals
Defined chemicals, raw materials, intermediates.
Glues, paints, inks, resins, solvents.
Cleaning agents, disinfectants, cosmetics (such as nail polish, perfume, alcohol-based hand sanitizers).
Car airbags, aerosol cans (sprays).

Magnetic Materials Strongly magnetic materials or components (such as neodymium iron boron magnets).
Magnetic devices that may interfere with aircraft instruments.

Items Containing Pressurized Gases
Lighters, fire extinguishers, compressed gas cylinders (such as diving tanks, carbon dioxide cylinders).
Refrigerants, airbag inflators.

Flammable Items Solids: Matches, some activated carbon, certain metal powders.
Liquids: Gasoline, alcohol, paint, certain adhesives.
Gases: Butane, hydrogen, lighter fuel.

Corrosive substances: Acids, alkalis, wet batteries, certain cleaning agents.

Oxides and peroxides: Bleach, certain chemical oxidizers, hydrogen peroxide solution (above a certain concentration).

Toxic or infectious substances: Certain pesticides, pharmaceutical intermediates, diagnostic samples, biological products.
Other miscellaneous hazardous materials: Dry ice (as a refrigerant), internal combustion engines, safety matches, regulated life-saving equipment, etc.

Booking Declaration to Airlines/Freight Forwarders: This report must be provided to the airline or freight forwarder before air transport is arranged as legal proof of the dangerous nature and classification of the goods. Without a valid report, dangerous or suspected dangerous goods will not be accepted for booking.

Who needs to provide <> to whom? (Process Roles) Provider (Client): The shipper or their designated freight forwarder. Issuer (Identifier): Must be a professional dangerous goods identification institution accredited by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC). Recipient (User): Airlines and freight forwarders, used to complete dangerous goods transport declarations and operations.
